Lost: OMGWTF POLAR BEAR

[NAFDA] This is where we talk about the show! Anything that's aired in the US (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though -- if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.

Punishingly Intricate

Should we create a betting pool on which episode the dog will become dinner for 46?

shhhh. It's so worrisome to me that the dog is there. Too much potential for tragedy. I can't take the dog trauma.

"The fact that we live at the bottom of a deep gravity well, on the surface of a gas covered planet going around a nuclear fireball 90 million miles away and think this to be normal is obviously some indication of how skewed our perspective tends to be."

[Kate snaps a polar bear's neck]

Kate: Did not know who he was fucking with.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Actually, I can't, either. It's easier for me to see a human character die than an animal "character."

But the dog's death seems inevitable, and so I'm trying to prepare myself.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

NOBODY KILLS VINCENT!

The only thing worse than that is if Claire delivers a beautiful baby and it dies. I like when the show brings on the HSQ, but that would be too much.

Vincent will not die. For he is one of the hyper-intelligent Canids running the island for their own amusement.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Look, I have serious questions about Vincent. Can you transport a pet from Australia to the U.S. without incident? Isn't there a quarantine period?

In addition, I need more information about Vincent cuz that dog looked like he was doing just fine before Locke called him. Vincent takes care of himself.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I've become hypersensitive when it comes to baby issues (including not being able to watch any CSI episodes involving the deaths of babies--it just hits too close to home). So I'm really hoping Claire delivers a heathy baby--if she delivers at all on the island. If anything bad happens to the baby, I may not be able to watch the show.

Also, the dog won't get it. It'll probably be someone like Hurley.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

LN, I would have to look at the current laws, but you used to be able to, though there would have been a quarantine period once they got here. OTOH, it's possible the airline might not allow it, because of the length of the flight.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Nooooooooo! I will sacrifice Shannon's hotness if Hurley gets to live.
