If I'd been Jack the gun that went to Sawyer would have been handed to Claire instead, to keep concealed on her person in case Ethan grabbed her again.
This is actually an excellent point, and would have been a cool thing to see. I do think there's a bit of the traditionalist in Jack, so I wasn't too sorry to see Sawyer ping him on Kate and the guns, but I get the impression it's reflex rather than ideology. It doesn't help that the person most in position to retrain his assumptions has already been revealed as devious and murderous.
I'm curious to know if Claire being kept in the dark was deliberate, or if it was left to Charlie to break it to her, not realizing he'd decide to keep it a secret. It doesn't seem to have been done via a group meeting, so presumably it was tell a few people, tell them to make sure everyone knows, and since everyone was avoiding Claire, it didn't get passed to her.
did anyone here notice that they said Scott was the one who was killed, but he was being played by the guy who was previously thought to have been Steve? makes my brain hurt.
Aw tiggy, poor you. You've been Abramed.
So do we feel that the threat is over, now that Ethan is dead? 'Cause that's probably optimistic, right?
Well, there's the whole question of how Claire got a away at all.
I think Charlie might have gotten at least a moment's pause out of Ethan, before getting nearly throttled again, if instead of asking "What do you want with her?" he'd asked "Why the fuck did you let her get away in the first place, you stupid git?"

This is it. Also, why she was taken, why she's unharmed, why she doesn't remember anything, and why he wanted her back. The whole thing was over too quickly for it to really be over.
I did wonder, if Ethan could pick off the Castaways one by one pretty much at will, why he had to have Charlie bring him Claire instead of just snatching her again himself.

The above should be spoiler free. I read it.
Maybe Vincent rescued her. He was out there romping around on his own, and only showed up after Claire was back.
I'm getting an error message with that link.

I think to keep her from making others aware she was being taken, he'd have to at the very least hurt her (and possibly the baby) enough to keep her quiet, and I got the distinct feeling he didn't want to chance her (or at least the baby) being harmed, although chasing her around the forest in the rain isn't exactly the greatest pre-natal care either.
