I need a favor. It's sort of a big favor.
I need to get some help promoting the LOST party. Press releases will go out this week, and that should help some, but word-of-mouth is the most valuable kind of promotion with events like this. If you've been to one of my parties and had a really good time, and wouldn't mind giving me a bit of a pimping in your LJ or Other Message Boards, I surely won't have a nervous breakdown and demand you all give me hairpats later.
The party website is here.
Any little bit of a good review of our past work is surely appreciated.
If you've been to one of my parties and had a really good time, and wouldn't mind giving me a bit of a pimping...
I shall activate increased party-pimpage henceforth.
I don't have an LJ or Website currently, but if I did (or had friends who did) would it be useful/okay to steal a copy of the lovely blue banner link that now sits proudly on The Fuselage and add it as a pimping tool?
Me too! That is, I have come here to get the link such that I can do so.
I picked up the new TV Guide, with Lost on the cover, and Jessica's DH's episode guide--loved the "...and, um, polar bears?!?" The White Hen only had the Matthew Fox and Terry O'Quinn covers, so I got Locke (would have liked Sayid's, though). Word of warning: the character descriptions do have some spoilers in the "where are they going" section.
I got the Locke TvGuide cover in the mail. I'd considered going to the grocery store and picking up the other five just for the cover pictures, but that seemed to obsessive.
And it's so appropriate for Michigan
I found the full Stamos quote:
Stamos says, "I've gone out with some waitresses lately and I went out with a nurse. I think that's probably my route; someone who is inspired and is non-jaded and that's what's interesting about regular real girls. I have so much to offer as far as my life. I hate talking up all the great things I have in my life, I'd love to share them with people. I met this girl and we went to Disneyworld and we didn't have to stand in line and she was just so excited! That made me so happy that she wasn't jaded. That's a road that I want to be on."
I think by "jaded" he means "unimpressed with my celebrity."
Huh. In my head, I was thinking about defending the desire to be with someone "non-jaded" but after reading the full context, I think, not.
Yeesh. Because my whole life is wrapped up around not having to stand in line at Disneyland.
And why don't celebrities have to stand in line anyway? And why do they get food paid for them at restaurants, when they can clearly afford it? They should let the midwestern farming family with eight kids cut in line and get free food.
