I believe that we will take the non-sinking sheep of love and will go far away to the ocean...

Are there any bears even vaguely native to that presumed geography?

And even small bears require a lot of territory. Same as any large predator.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I was being absolutely hypocritical to praise Lost for it's racially correct casting

I'm of two minds of this, but I do have to wonder -- is it better to cast DDK as a kinda convincing Korean native, or someone from Japan whose Korean is fluent and casual?

'cause this made me laugh like an idiot.

You won't hear me judging you.

I forgot tonight was a repeat. I am bummed.

At least we got a preview for the next new one. On the downside, I left my TV on and got sucked into Alias for a bit when I heard Larry Sullivan's voice. Though I suppose it's worth putting up with some highly unlikely suburban satire for the chance to listen to him.

Mostly horrified reactions from various people, with someone asking if Ethan was stll out there and someone else saying "I hope not." Then they showed Charlie and Ethan facing off in the jungle and the latter grabbing the former by his neck.

Imdb has a news item today about Lost:

Touchstone Television is likely to move production of Lost out of Hawaii unless the state comes up with tax credits to keep it there, the Honolulu Star Bulletin reported Wednesday. "Nobody wants to move," Lost producer Jean Higgins told the newspaper, "but this is a business and we must consider options to cut expenses." She said that the series is currently losing $500,000 per episode. The Star Bulletin said that considerable savings could be achieved by moving production to other states on the mainland that have actively been courting producers. Ted Liu, director of the Department of Business, Economic Development and Tourism, said that state officials "have had many discussions with ABC about these issues and possible solutions."

I hope they don't have to move, because how the hell could they make the beach look the same without a whole lotta faking?

Hawaii should sell out to keep them! Do they want to be remembered by North Shore and the cancelled Hawaii instead?
