[NAFDA] This is where we talk about the show! Anything that's aired in the US (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though -- if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

So, am I the only one who just doesn't like Rousseau and her whole sub-plot? I mean, I like the idea, but I don't like her character as portrayed.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Nope, not alone.

Our wings are not tired.

My only regret about the Rousseau sub-plot is that we haven't seen more yet. I can wait for the story to reveal, but I don't know if ABC will wait. I don't want to lose a show I enjoy. There are so few for me.

I'm watching the repeat because Sayid pretty.

Sure I went over to the Dark Side, but just to pick up a few things.

She mentions something about the others being the "carriers". Carriers of what? Has this come up at all?

when i die, please bake my ashes into a brick and use me to hit fascists.

Writer not named JJ Ockham

Okay, I obviously need sugar or something, 'cause this made me laugh like an idiot.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

Are there any bears even vaguely native to that presumed geography?

Not really. The closest are sun bears in Borneo and Sumatra.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Oh yeah, this repeat reminds me. Somebody called me on this, and thank you, you're totally right. I was being absolutely hypocritical to praise Lost for it's racially correct casting, referring to really just the Asians and Australians. Kinda continent-blind of me to not call them on the Iraqi roles. So, sorry 'bout that.

I believe that we will take the non-sinking sheep of love and will go far away to the ocean...

Are there any bears even vaguely native to that presumed geography?

And even small bears require a lot of territory. Same as any large predator.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I was being absolutely hypocritical to praise Lost for it's racially correct casting

I'm of two minds of this, but I do have to wonder -- is it better to cast DDK as a kinda convincing Korean native, or someone from Japan whose Korean is fluent and casual?

'cause this made me laugh like an idiot.

You won't hear me judging you.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I forgot tonight was a repeat. I am bummed.

At least we got a preview for the next new one. On the downside, I left my TV on and got sucked into Alias for a bit when I heard Larry Sullivan's voice. Though I suppose it's worth putting up with some highly unlikely suburban satire for the chance to listen to him.
