P-C, cling all you want. i am so pessimistic that i don't even see a glass.
My glass is a plastic keg cup, and I had to pay $5 for it so I could get a drink of tap water, but then someone put a cigarette out in it, and so while it's half full, it's really gross and you wouldn't want to drink out of it.
According to Sci-Fi Wire JJ and DL claim to know the answers already. [link]
(Third (last) paragraph has a casting spoiler.)
Of course, we'll have to find out if they're telling the truth.

If you were them, would you tell everyone you didn't know the answers?
I ended up being Sawyer. Heck, I don't want to be him, I just want to screw him.
I know for a FACT that they are making it up as they go along.
See, now, if I were a writer, or creator, which I am just very not... on a show like this, I think that would freak me out. I have control issues, though. But, I mean, people have expecTAYshuns. Then again, he's got ratings, and a contract, so, I suppose other people's expectations can only mean so much. And, you know, I don't mean that in a nasty way. That's how I'd feel. I'm betting. Were I a writer. Which I am not.
I enjoy the pretty. Some threads will likely play out. It's enough.
Eh, I'm less worried about Lost being made up as they go along than I am about 24. I mean, this is a JJA show -- if they get backed into a corner, I'm sure he can find something to blow up.
Lost is the cover story for the new TV Guide
DH wrote the episode guide in there! So if any of the phrasing sounds Buffista-ish, that's why.
and a sound trouncing in the ratings by "American Idol."
Which managed to drop it from its previous average of 18 million viewers to... 18 million viewers. I'm sure the network execs are diving out of upper story windows as we speak.
also fan backlash is so last year. if people can't wait to find out the answers, they need to go find a reality show to watch.
Before you get too energetic in dismissing anyone with criticisms of the show, consider that some of us here have issues with it. I think the blasé treatment of Claire's kidnapping for two episodes/several days is a plot hole big enough for Lostzilla to skip through. I can accept mysterious and unlikely events, but if the people stop acting like real people, it all falls apart.
I don't think we've shown anything on the show yet ... that has no rational explanation in the real world that we all function within.
Say WHAT?!?

This is the one thing about
Lost
that really bugs me. Not only do they not seem very concerned about Claire, but they don't seem very concerned that she was apparently taken by someone who was not on the plane.

I know. They have around 40 people who could actually be out searching for Claire, or hunting for that matter. But no, they're all sitting around saying "I'm bored, when's dinner". Jack broke from his whole, "I'm the hero, I must save everyone" shtick over a
pregnant girl!
It seems he should care more about Claire, as a doctor, than anyone else there.
