Like, Michael snapping at someone who calls Walt "different", then later Brian saying he's "different" and then we know why.
There was a cool moment when I was trying to backtrack what exactly Michael was reaction to: Locke had made 2 statements preceding his "What did you say?" One was something about not having the time to talk to him, or really get to know him (Walt) and then, he said, "he's different." I liked the ambiguity of not knowing which statement caused Michael's reaction.
Also, I think Evangeline Lilly is loosening up a little bit. She's much more natural in the smaller quieter moments. It makes for some nice, er, moments (to overuse the word, if I may). Or the character has visibly relaxed since getting that toy airplane back. I was also admiring her caboose during that scene with Charlie in the caves.
Baby!Walt almost made me cry, that's how beautiful he was.
"Bryan said you caould have Vincent." HA! That was awesome. Michael was so smooth. Also, his realization of how lost Walt must be if he wasn't with either Michael or Locke was heartbreaking. He really had gotten himself up in a righteous anger, assuming that WAlt was with Locke. Yell at Locke, yell at WAlt, march back to camp. When he discovered Walt wasn't there, it was like all the air had been let out of him.
Why was he so against Walt hanging out with Locke, anyway? Because Locke was a little creepy at first, then it became an issue of not backing down when Walt continued to hang out with him?
Excellent episode. So annoyed that we have reruns for the next 3(?) weeks. GAH!
