A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

As far as can be told, he still doesn't know what the invisimechasaurs look like.

Even if he'd seen one, he still wouldn't know what one looked like.

Hallucinagenic!Invisimechasaur != RealLife!!Invisimechasaur

Not having has never been the thing I've regretted most in my life. Not trying is.

Didn't anyone else think "Well, THAT makes damn sure that he won't be running to Mommy to tell her how Shannon hoodwinked him out of money!"?

Raises hand.

Also, I'm of like mind as Robin and Nutty, which is good as their brains are very spicy.

Boone's relief at Shannon's death read perfectly valid reaction to getting out from under someone's thumb you're not strong enough to free yourself from.

Of course, now he's under Satan!Locke's thumb, so the relief will be short lived.

"Being hungover is like winning the lottery, except they pay you in regret!" - T-Rex

So, there was an article on Lost in the newspaper here yesterday, and in it Ian Somerhalder is complaining how Boone has no survival skills, whereas according to him, he has some.

"I grew up in Louisiana. We had horses and land. You learn how to survive. You understand the way things work in the woods, if you need to build a fire, tie a rope, make a rope out of something else. He didn't know any of these things. He was very fragile in that environment, where I wouldn't have been.

"Do you know how hard it is to stand around and have everybody say 'Do this, Do this,' when I know, Ian knows, that's what you do."

Dude. Maybe you should have gone and found out what this whole newfangled acting thing was, before taking a job in it.

ETA: edited to add a bit more context

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

"Do you know how hard it is to stand around and have everybody say 'Do this, Do this,' when I know, Ian knows, that's what you do."

I don't even understand this sentence. Is he talking about himself in the third person? And complaining about being told to do things? And what about survival skills now?

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

I've decided Locke is The Best Satan Ever. You know why? Satan As Therapist.

Love it, love it, LOVE IT!

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Everything I've read from the guy's own mouth strikes me as... not unintelligent, exactly, but having the same vibe as a 13 year-old with an advanced vocabulary and absolutely no understanding of other people or how the world works. Dude better thank his lucky stars he's pretty.

Also -- I'm so glad that the Abramsverse is contingous, thus, my scenario in which the final episode of Lost has the team from Alias swooping in to save them all. I think this should involve black helicoptors AND a unit of divers. Possibly a submarine.

Just gotta handwave past the uncanny resemblance between Locke and Kendall, and the plane's pilot and Weiss, but yeah. Probably just there to get the Rambaldi device powering the invisimechosaurs, though.

I think Ian is complaining that Boone, the character, isn't as skilled as Ian, the actor.

So, yeah, what Edain said.

Oooh, got it. Thanks, Jon.
