I'm going to see to Wesley, see if he's still whimpering.

Sure I went over to the Dark Side, but just to pick up a few things.

Well, since I know I'm crazy, the sense has to be crazy sense. Make sense?

In the sense that it doesn't - hence perfectly.

Thrive to spite them

I watched the episode tonight. I really like Sayid and Shannon together, I don't know what Boone's deal is, but I think Shannon would be a lot nicer/stronger if she didn't have him constantly putting her down.

When Jack was threatening to take away Sawyer's medicatation over the briefcase I kepting thinking "Kiss! Kiss damnit!! you know you want to!!" And I'm not even that fond of Jack.

I don't believe Kate's tears ONE BIT, and if that is what was in the safety deposit box, then I don't think it's what she expected or wanted.

Hopefully this episode is setting up some good pay off down the line because it was a bit of a let down. However, Michael and Hurly laughing at Sawyer for trying to get into the haliburton was priceless. My Sawyer love continues to grow...he's nasty and kind of mean, but I like him and he's pretty to look at, I'm hoping that he'll get the occasion to kiss someone again because that kiss with Kate was so scorching. It made Kate's kiss with the bank robber seem like a friendly little peck on the cheek.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

you think Sawyer is just an ordinary goodish guy who's playing at being a bad boy?

It's not so much a decision about the character, as to the writing. He seemed all bad, had his episode, hasn't been bad (taunty, sure, but not bad) since then. He's been de-fanged.

Thrive to spite them

I forgot to include my initial reaction which was --why are Sawyer and Kate playing in the water and acting so friendly? Just a few minutes before -- mistrust and dislike then they hit the water and it's happy fun time.

All is well that ends in pizza.

It's weird, then, that the ABC diary for Lost had the two of them snuggling weeks ago.

Well, IIRC that was written from Shannon's POV, she saw them together and assumed snuggle, maybe?

The Diary's not written from Shannon's POV. I've read a lot of research into this over at the Fuselage, and apparently it has been stated by one of the writers somewhere that its not written by any of the characters we know.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I was glad to see that he didn't make a snide comment or distasteful face when Shannon asked him if Locke was his new boyfriend (or if he did they edited it out.)

Wonder how many hundreds of takes they had to do to get that out of Somerhalder? Or maybe they just had Maggie Grace say the line to the camera separately, unbeknownst to him.

Last night, seeing Kate in action made me re-evaluate her. I'd previously figured her third most dangerous among the castaways after Sayid and Locke, but now I think she's easily #1 with a bullet as long as those handguns are around. And quite possibly without them.

The grappling and head-bonking with Sawyer has all been play for her. I think if there'd ever been a moment when she thought he was a legitimate danger to her safety, he'd be keeping Marshal McLeer company in the ground.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

So how much of Kate's "situation" did Sun overhear? It was more about what's in the case than anything else, right? So now there are guns & ammo, and three people who know about it. How quickly do you think that'll come into play?

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Oh, yeah, and Sun can only tell Michael about the conversation, because not even Jin knows she speaks English! Yay for future misunderstanding!
