All is well that ends in pizza.

ETA: Freakies

I can't decide if it's more disturbing that cleolinda didn't recognize that what Sawyer was unfolding in front of Sayid was a straight razor (not nail clippers), or that I did recognize it.

By the way, tonight, in the pilot rerun, they show Jack finding that straight razor.

i notice the straight razor tonight...though when i first watched the Pilot eppy it didnt seem like an "important" thing. now i am wondering how many other bits were there that i missed before.

trying to not become obsessed...but i think it is TOO late.*sigh*

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

This is kinda neat: Great Circle Mapper

In the "Paths" field, type in:
suv-hnl, syd-lax

and it will show you the direct route from Sydney to Los Angeles and the direct route from Fiji to Honolulu.

eta: Try this -- in the "Ranges" field, type in
3000nm@syd
and change the "Map Style" to "ortho." That will add a circle to show 3000 nautical miles (about six hours flight time) from Sydney.

etaa: change the "Ranges" field to
3000nm@syd, 1000nm@hnl, 1000nm@suv
and you also get 1000 mile circles around Honolulu and Fiji.

Sure I went over to the Dark Side, but just to pick up a few things.

beathen, I did receive transcripts 1x03 through 1x08

Cool. I'm gonna try to get 1x09 through 1x11 done this weekend so I can be caught up by Christmas.

Most of the people I talk with understand that I have a few subjects that I could talk about incessantly...Buffy, Angel, LOTR, and Lost . New friends shake their heads at me, but they quickly learn. I've already converted my mom and dad into Angel fans.

I'm taking some of my Lost tapes to my parent's house for Christmas so I can show them to my sister. I will be converting her in one week. Or, at least make her care more about Wednesday nights. If she's busy, I'll teach her how to set the VCR. In any case, depending on perspective, I'm a good/bad influence on my family!

everyone that i have gotten to watch the show has LOVED it. i have even sent tapes to a few friends and they want more. i love how easily you can suck them into the obsessive fan love get them interested/invested in the show and characters.

good luck with the VCR training. it is a good thing to know for those events that you HAVE to attend instead of staying in to watch LOST. *g*

edited b/c i forgot the basic HTML that makes things better.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

halfrek - to quote someone, use the "greater than" key. If you type,

I've already converted my mom and dad into Angel fans.

it displays as

I've already converted my mom and dad into Angel fans.

The t small tag doesn't work here.

Also, that long line of hyphens may cause some browsers to scroll right.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Huh. Actually the small tag is making those quotes display smaller on my monitor, though the distinction isn't as clear as using the greater than carat (or indented like same).
