Grrrr. My cable went out at 5:35 today, and remains out—no pristine SP tape for my co-worker that wants to hop on the bandwagon with the pilot episode.
It would be nice if Time Warner could string together 5 fucking days in a row without a cable/internet outage. Or at least, have an outage at some time other than Wednesday evening or Sunday night, as those are the only two times of the week that I tape anything.

My nephew Josh hasn't been watching Lost, and wasn't really interested. Then tonight he was flipping the channels and came in on the pilot just after Jack woke up. thirty minutes later, he was hooked.

I can't decide if it's more disturbing that cleolinda didn't recognize that what Sawyer was unfolding in front of Sayid was a straight razor (not nail clippers), or that I did recognize it.
By the way, tonight, in the pilot rerun, they show Jack finding that straight razor.
