Y'know, I'm of two minds about taping. I have all these Buffy and Angel tapes, and the Farscape season 3 & 4 tapes... And, really? Unless there was a plot point I needed discussion fodder for, I've never watched them. My son used to, when he'd had to work during an airing, but he's on his own, now. We don't have dvr or TiVo, and no plans to, any time soon.
I think I'll wait for the dvds.
I have Buffy S6 DVDs. That means the tapes are fair game for reuse. I think I will start reusing them tonight.
We repurposed all our Buffy and Angel tapes to nabbing movies off TCM via TiVo. We now have large holdings of Noir and Screwball available as the mood takes us.
I'm rewatching, no taping. And I keep swearing I see Ethan, on the plane and during the wreck scene on the beach. I need someone to slow the episode down to a crawl and tell me I'm nuts.

I haven't noticed Ethan, but I've recognised many of the people who have becom major speaking parts.

I need someone to obsessively frame-by-frame the disaster scenes so we can count victims/actors.
I'm about to burn all my old show tapes to dvd, then I'll have one million vcr tapes to do something with.
Also? Rewatch is so much fun.
