Maybe Ethan sedated Charlie...Danielle had a sedative. He could have made CHarlie walk and then gave him the sedative so Charlie was easy to hang.
My question is how did Ethan get Charlie all the way up there.
[NAFDA] This is where we talk about the show! Anything that's aired in the US (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though -- if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.

Maybe Ethan sedated Charlie...
Or, Ethan just conked Charlie on the head. I'm assuming he's the one who did that to Sayid.
My question is how did Ethan get Charlie all the way up there.
He probably had help from one of the "they" who wanted Claire.
This is, of course, nothing but speculation.
Here's a question: how do you hang a man against his will, without binding his hands and feet?

Superfast extraterrestrials. No one man could have hung Charlie up there against his will. Maybe Ethan was able to mesmerize Charlie, so that he was unwilling to resist.
Yay. Just watched last nights ep. Wow.
Brief thoughts after a catch up on posts:
Kate is cute.
I reckon Ethan must've had help getting Charlie up there.
On the two trails = Ethan and Charlie, 'They' and Claire theory... I think its just as feasible that Ethan went with Claire and 'They' took Charlie and hung him up... Especially given that female screams heard by Jack before his strange encounter with Ethan.
Walt is indeed very lucky.
Hurley's gotta be some kind of gamer, and probably a very very rich one at that...
Kate is cute.
My own theory is that the power behind the island is doing a long term experiment on people. Selecting very specific people, arranging events to put them in them same place, then bringing them into contact with it's established community.
There are at least three generations on the island - the cave corpses, the boat people, and now the plane survivors. Maybe each was dragged in, then destroyed or assimilated into the experiment based on how they choose to deal with the island's tricks.

I really, really want the cave corpses to turn out to be Amelia Earhart and whats-his-name.
I didn't like this show at first but I caught last week's episode and it's starting to suck me in a little bit. I'm glad they didn't kill Charlie because he, Claire, and Hurley are the only people I like. Am I the only one who thinks that Jack and Kate are boring, one-dimensional, and annoying as hell?
Also, does anyone else find this supernatural stuff really dull so far? Is Walt just lucky or can he do stuff with his MIND? Is Locke a nice guy or POSSESSED by the ISLAND? I guess, when I heard about Lost over the summer, I thought that watching a group of random people trying to survive on a deserted island sounded interesting and I thought the show would be solely about that - power dynamics, being trapped with 40 random strangers, homesickness, finding food, drinking water, tampons, birth control, etc. So, when I watched the actual show and there was all these "mysterious" happenings, I was disappointed. It's not the show's fault, but I can't stop comparing the idea I had of it to the actuality.
Locke is Blackavar, btw.
(In case anyone was still mentally doing the Watership Down casting thing.)

No.
Compare the ambiguity of almost anything Locke says with the flat-out "tell, don't show" coming from Kate and Jack.
