I've seen honest faces before. They usually come attached to liars.

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

There will be no killing of the Hurley.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Hurley knows that Kate was a fugitive, right? I hope he asks her what she did, eventually.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

So is Hurley going to be skinny by the end of the season or something? Is that part of his contract?

All is well that ends in pizza.

Someone (Fury?) has said the first season is roughly the first 40 or so days on the island.

Next season? That would be cool.

Eep. This just made me think that Hurley, Walt and the baby all have meta reasons for being high on the fodder list.

Is this the only show that needs a dedicated stubble and grime continuity person? Although the previews did show that there is at least one straight razor on the island.

I'm having great difficulty suspending disbelief on hairy pits and legs. And also on frizzy hair. And sunburn. And gingivitis.

If I only had a brain...

And why is it that Claire can find a hairbrush but Kate cannot?

Sure I went over to the Dark Side, but just to pick up a few things.

And sunburn

I was actually wondering about this last night. Very few of the strandees are dark skinned and have little natural protection against the sun. You'd think after a week hanging out on a beach everyone would be red.

They do keep mentioning sunscreen, at least.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Hopefully people realized in that first week that they'd better use what sunscreen they had to safely build up a base tan before nasty burns could result.

At least a few of the characters are looking more tanned than when they started out - location shooting in Hawaii is no doubt helpful with that.
