I read, I think in EW, that they weren't paying the cast enough to make them diet, so they would show various food windfalls in at least some of the episodes. I can't remember who was quoted, but he specifically mentioned Jorge Garcia (Hurley), who I just love.
'Selfless'
Lost: OMGWTF POLAR BEAR
[NAFDA] This is where we talk about the show! Anything that's aired in the US (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though -- if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.
I read the same thing. Besides over the first season they will have only been there for 40 days. As long as they can still fish and kill wild boar they should be fine. It's not like they're just living on rice.
Someone needs to get scurvy. Just so they can say the word "scurvy."
Jack: "She's got scurvy."
Hurley: "What's scurvy, dude?"
Jack: "It results from Vitamin C deficiency."
Shannon: "Vitamin what?"
Hurley: "Well she hasn't been drinking a lot of OJ, man."
Locke: "At first light, we hunt. The OJ sleeps during the day, leaving the pulp to protect the young. The young are the most vulnerable. We need two to distract the pulp and one to fill the glass."

Lost was on the cover of this week's TV Guide at the checkout.
Now they need to be on the cover of Entertainment Weekly with an in depth interview with all the main actors and plenty of pictures. THAT would make my week.
Yes, beathen. Plus, I would also like EW to actually send me that issue. I just started a subscription recently, and have only received three of the last seven issues. I am just a tad perturbed.
To play devil's advocate, I can think of one reason not to like Hurley (though generally I do)-- he tattles on people a lot. Kate has a gun; the Chinese people have water, etc.
In Watership Down, is there one rabbit that is white?
The TV Guide article, or part of it: [link]
Mild mild mild spoilers.
That link might not work beyond the week.

How about "He doesn't keep ridiculous secrets when it's important to let the leaders know."
We haven't seen him reveal something not important.
