Not exactly. He gave Kate attitude when she asked him for the laptop battery. Granted, she isn't sweetness and light (but I like feisty), but he isn't exactly a straight shooter. He had every opportunity to tell people "nope, don't have the inhalers" but he had to do it the hard way. I actually think he wanted to die. Oh well.
