Hmm, but they didn't really do that with Sun's story. Sure, Jin was there, but it was Sun's story. So, I have hope we will a) see Jin's story, and b) see separate stories for Walt and Michael

I think it is fair to say Sun and Jin did. We learned almost as much about him as we did about Sun.
