The Buffista Book Club: the Harry Potter iteration
This thread is a focused discussion group. Please see the first post below for the current topic and upcoming book discussions. While natter will inevitably happen, we encourage you to treat this like a virtual book club and try to keep your posts in that spirit.
By consensus, this thread is reopened specifically to discuss Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. It will be closed again once that discussion has run its course.
***SPOILER ALERT***
Strength - Ginny and Crookshanks
Hee. (Why not Hermione though?)
Maybe make Strength be a Patronus?

K said it's "a girl with a lion." Does anyone have a lion Patronus?
I'm guessing she chose Ginny because she had already used Hermione once.

Ginny's spells are also shown to be unusually strong.
I don't know from Tarot, but it is interesting to compare the choices between the first two links. I like the descriptions in the third link.

I liked that they showed that in the movie of OotP, and also showed Harry's very impressed reaction to her spells. A nice foreshadowing for the next film.
From those other decks I like the Sorting Hat for the wheel of fortune and the Patronus for Strength.

I like these too. I also like Fawkes as the Star. I think traditionally there is a peacock associated with the Star. I'll look in my tarot books later.
A peacock and a fox and a dog -- I think.
