What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I still do not understand why they didn't explain about the Marauders. It would have taken ten seconds. Instead, movie Harry apparently has no idea his dad was Prongs, yet he refers to Sirius as Padfoot in the OOTP movie.

But I can't remember if you see Snape calling Lily "mudblood".

Pretty sure you don't. I barely remember Lily at all in the vision. It was all about James using Levicorpus on Snape and laughing.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Snape's worst day is cut way down, and you don't hear him calling her a mudblood.

they may have not thought that it was important when they were writing the script, because until DH, it wasn't.

But J.K. vetted the script and made them put Kreacher in. I wonder whether the "Mudblood" ended up on the cutting room floor for some reason.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

The only way to stay sane when both reading the books and watching the movies is to treat the movies as "Highlights from Harry Potter."

Anything else is asking for headaches.

Well crap - I'd stayed unspoiled for Fight Club for years until reading that shirt.

I have to give credit to JK for putting in a fair amount of wand-innuendo as the kids got older.

Aw, crap, I'm sorry! I think I had already seen the movies or known the spoilers for all of them except 300, which I didn't even realize could be spoiled.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Why didn't you watch Fight Club years ago?

I think most of them, if you saw the shirt, you wouldn't know what they were referencing unless you'd already seen it.

I've tried to watch Fight Club a couple times, but couldn't stay with it, and somehow I never got spoiled-by-osmosis.

I mean, I knew what "Rosebud" signified years before I saw the movie, and I've never seen Soylent Green, but that spoiler's hard to avoid...but I didn't even know Fight Club had a twist. I thought it was just annoying.

(OK, not the movie thread, got it)

Hey! HP topic: How come only two of the Horcruxes could talk/seemed to have intelligence? I'm thinking of the journal and the locket, not Harry and Nagini, btw. And is it pronounced "hor-crucks" or "hor-crew"?
