Meaney and Bernard Hill play fiddler brothers
Meep! They could play kazoo-playing brothers, and I'd still go see this.
William ,'Conversations with Dead People'
A place to talk about movies--Old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.

Also, Natalie (the dark haired Commitmentette - and I think I just broke fingers typing that) was in Hothouse Flowers, which Jimmy is asked for early on, when he's selling tapes. I seem to recall also that Natalie mentions them later in the film, but I can't remember when or why offhand.

I am Anne. Also Spartacus.
I just saw Hostage. The first 45 minutes are pretty good, and then it was kinda like all the overblown stylistic flourishes of John Woo with none of the emotion. Lotsa fire, water, and slow motion action.
I just watched Infernal Affairs.
Wow.
If I could have sex with a movie, I'd totally do this one. Lean and gorgeous and soulful and OMG teh hot.
Now, off to bed, dreaming of Tony Leung's eyes.
I saw 'Excorsit: The Beginning' tonight with my father. I can't apologize enough for having suggested it.
JZ and I saw Harold and Kumar go to White Castle. It made us laugh, and I now love Neil Patrick Harris.
Is there a name for the next thread?
We shall call it George and love it and squeeze it....
And when it is bad we will spank it like this.....
