"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

So he films Pesci pistol whipping half the Academy, turns it into his next Goodfellas, and wins next year?

No you're talking. Bring in Deniro with a baseball bat and you've got my vote.

Apart from sports, "my secret favorite thing on earth is ketchup. I will put ketchup on anything. But it has to be Heinz." - my husband, Michael Vartan

I saw Be Cool a couple weeks ago, and it is not the best movie ever, but it was much better than I expected it to be, and I really enjoyed it. It was very enjoyable. However, I totally agree that The Rock was by far the best part.

I think I said something about it at the time, but I'm much too lazy to search.

erika, did you see the cautionary tale over at Salon about the woman who spent ten years sucked into writing a Mob Farce? I think you'd like it.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Bring in Deniro with a baseball bat

That was actually a DePalma movie, but, yeah, I'd still watch it.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

From IMDB:

On the heels of its success with Polar Express, IMAX announced Tuesday that it will release Batman Begins on its giant screens on the same day it that opens in conventional theaters, June 17. IMAX accounted for more than 25 percent of the box-office take for Polar Express, which it exhibited in 3-D. Presumably, Batman Begins, which stars Christian Bale in the title role, will be presented in 2-D. Nevertheless, in an interview with the New York Daily News, the company's co-CEO, Richard Gelfond, remarked, "This is the kind of epic movie that will blow people away in IMAX."
