It's not like she blew me off. She just left with another guy, that's all.

Buffista Movies 3: Panned and Scanned

A place to talk about movies--Old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I think the LotR was a more organic extension of the award to past works, though. It wasn't as unrelated as an actor's good body of work.

This is very true.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

I laughed and laughed at Dodgeball. I'm not proud of it, but I laughed. Although generally not at Stiller.

I should have liked it, since I usually like those Frat Pack movies. But I felt dirty after Dodgeball. It felt soulless and corporate, like Stiller these days.

Oh, I see what you're saying. Yeah, good point.

See, that's how I felt about Old School, but I love the crap out of Dodgeball.

Dodgeball made me laugh so hard it hurt. I regret staying through the end credits, though.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Ditto. And DITTO.

What happened during the end credits? I was forced to leave early. Not that it took tons of forcing, because I really didn't care for the movie, but I usually enjoy watching credits, and seeing cool names.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

There was a really painful Ben Stiller bit that I've managed to block out most of.

We made Jilli watch ALL THE WAY THROUGH.

And now I have the milkshake song in my head again.

Are these related? Because the milkshake song is quite the punishment.
