Chiming in to add love for The Station Agent. So great and it has Patricia Clarkson, one of my faves. Speaking of which, I watched High Art again last night. PC is so wonderful in it.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

The Station Agent was my favorite movie last year. Amazingly good, and not an explosion or soap opera plot to be found anywhere.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I was very convincing in that sex scene with Radha Mitchell, huh?

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

Well, the online version, anyway.

I am impressed. Also, Katie, I don't know if anyone's mentioned this to you, but that piece you wrote is pretty funny.

Heh. So people keep saying. Thank you, though; additional compliments greedily accepted.

Lurching from one disaster to the next.

the Abydos patriarch

My man Eric Avari. He also played the scientist who bangs his head on the upper-bunk at the beginning of Independence Day.

Dean Devlin can bite my shiny metal ass. I love the changes they made to make the tv series.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Exactly my thought. I laughed when I heard him distance himself on the commentary track.

It's not genius TV, but it's eminently and enjoyable watchable.

Silly, silly boy. You are P-C where Patricia Clarkson is obviously PC. Shah!
