Get up...get up, you stupid piece of... What did you do that for? What's wrong with you? Didn't you hear a word he said? All of you! You think there's someone just going to drop money on you?! Money they could use?! Well, there ain't people like that. There's just people like me.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I saw The Life Aquatic last night. Loved it. Funny and sad. I loved how Steve Zizou was utterly honest all the way through it, even when it made him look bad.

"You see? THAT's what they want. Love, and a bit with a dog."

Watching Garden State with the roomie now. She isn't loving it.

Cereal:

I don't care. Third time, and I still get full out chills when the song starts.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

That's a character whose best accessory is a ball gag.

Really, are there any Ryan Reynolds characters that's not true of?

I haven't seen any of his other stuff. Though I'll probably be seeing the new Amityville Horror when it comes out. The lad does look much better with a beard.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Wheeee! I just got back from seeing Phantom of the Opera, and it was everything I had hoped it would be. Yes, gloriously overblown, bombastic cheese with wall-to-wall pretty costumes and set design. I want a copy on DVD now, because when I'm tired and cranky and just want to watch something overwhelmingly pretty and with a silly plot, Phantom will be the perfect thing to watch. (Phantom trumps Moulin Rouge in that regard for me, because I still get emotionally manipulated by MR and cry during parts of it. Phantom, however, just makes me go oooh, pretty! and giggle a lot.)

Yeah, but who wouldn't look better with Alanis Morissette on his arm?

Hey. New board.

Somebody needs to tell Metacritic that their new layout doesn't work with Firefox.

Also, I'm seeing Sideways tonight. I'm very excited.

The generation that could change the world is still looking for its car keys.

I'm seeing Sideways tonight.

Have you been drinking?
