I am not...I am not the damsel in distress. I am not some case. I have to work this. I've lived in a cave for 5 years in a world where they killed my kind like cattle. I am not going to be cut down by some monster flu. I am better than that. What a wonder...how very scared I am.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Dennis Leary said that there didn't need to be a movie about Jim Morrison, that you could summarize his life in three sentences: "I'm drunk, I'm nobody. I'm drunk, I'm famous. I'm drunk, I'm dead."

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Except the movie had an "I'm drunk -- I'm dead ... boo!" moment, which pissed us off mightily. I was all set to leave.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Didn't they just come out last year, for a reasonable price? What happened? Is Amazon just on crack?

Yow. Earlier this year, they had them in stock for $70, I think. Maybe they're sold out? Ack. You might want to check other vendors, online and off.

Try DVDPriceSearch. They have one vendor for new with the price @ $98.00. They also have Amazon used for $150.00, which is odd.

Like a fine wine, they get better with age.

The generation that could change the world is still looking for its car keys.

Like a fine wine, they get better with age.

They don't turn to vinegar?

Personally, I thought Val Kilmer did a good job as Jim Morrison, but that was due more to the fact that he can act that the director. The rest of the movie was complete and utter shit.

Yikes. That's still more than I'm willing to pay for them, for lo, I am poor, and it's not like my mother is DYING to have them. But I'm bummed, because I knew she loved the show, and she'd really appreciate the gift. But I don't really have a spare hundred dollars lying around to spend on her, no matter how much I love her. Sorry, Mom.

Kate, I can take a look at Newbury's for you if you like. I've seen copies there, although I have no idea what they're charging for them.

DX, would you really? That would be great! Thank you. I was planning on making them a joint gift with my brother, so I'm willing to pay as much as $60 for them.
