Oh! I watched Suicide Club over the weekend. A world of ew! I did not like. Loved Battle Royale, though.
Buffista Movies 3: Panned and Scanned
A place to talk about movies--Old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.
Does anyone else totally identify with this comic?
Hee! I loved that.
I was "meh" on Big Fish also.
You are SO dead to Jilli.
Plei is wise, and knows me well.
I'd better let her borrow my goth music video tape.
That *might* resurrect you in my eyes.
However, I will be the first to admit that my taste in movies is all over the map. Adore Big Fish beyond all reason. I also am very fond of Hudson Hawk , Long Kiss Goodnight , AND whatever that Geena Davis pirate movie was. Yes, I own it. Oh, and while I liked Lost In Translantion , I didn't think it utterly super-fantastic.
AND whatever that Geena Davis pirate movie was.
Cutthroat Island.
Cutthroat Island.
Yes! Love that movie. So silly and over-the-top. Explosions! Swordfighting while wearing a corset!
I have yet to see it.
My guilty pleasure is Deep Blue Sea.
She's young and smart and talented and full of shit
Where are you getting the smart part from?
AND whatever that Geena Davis pirate movie was. Yes, I own it.
Jilli is my new best friend. I know of NOBODY else who liked that movie!
It would have been better if she hadn't just barely married the director, and he'd actually forced her to, what's the word? Oh, yeah. ACT.
t handwaving Whatever! Corsets, pirates, swordfights, Matthew Modine. Also, I think I saw Cutthroat Island relatively soon after seeing Thelma & Louise for the first time, so I was very kindly disposed towards Geena Davis.
