I said I'm sorry. I've made mistakes, but fear was never one of them.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Any particular "it" in mind?

Well, if we free associate, let's go with...Veruca Salt (girl) -> Veruca Salt (band) -> Nina Gordon. Oh! Nina Gordon in my bed. That's it.

Ann, that's a ferret.

OK, show of hands. Is anyone not freaked out by the idea of the live-action Fat Albert movie?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

OK, show of hands. Is anyone not freaked out by the idea of the live-action Fat Albert movie?

I'm not, because I'm still in denial that it's gonna happen.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I just hope they get a decent Weird Harold. I always liked that character.

I have a few of the old Bill Cosby albums from the 1960s, and the man was a comic genius. "Hey, Ol' Weird Harold, I bet you fifty cents my leg can burp!"

Fred, it gets even freakier. According to the little blurb in EW, it's not just a live-action Fat Albert movie: apparently, it's about the animated Fat Albert characters stepping into the real world or something.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Watch the trailer.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Just rerun the old Fat Albert series - why mess with genius. I miss me some Fat Albert.

Ann, that's a ferret.

ita, I've seen the trailer. Or at least a preview. And, P-C, it's even worse than that -- they're pulled into today's real world.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

kg{kRosby faints when Fat Albert shows up at his door.

If fictional stuff were popping out of the screen and coming to life like in Purple Rose of Cairo, walking past the Independence Day sale DVDs would become a difficult act of willpower for me.

Oh, yeah, I knew that. Cause why would they get pulled into the world of their own time? That doesn't make any sense, of course.
