the hardest to learn / was the least complicated

I would definitely say Natalie Portman and Kirsten Dunst.

Other than True Lies, what was Eliza Dushku in as a kid? I don't know much about her career.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

This movie called City by the Sea or something, if I recall.

Art Crawl!!!

This is all stuff from before she was 20 (she was born in 1980):

Switch (1999/II) .... Nina Lector ... aka Last Nine Months, The (1999)
Race the Sun (1996) .... Cindy Johnson
Journey (1995) (TV) .... Cat
Bye Bye, Love (1995) .... Emma Carlson
Fishing with George (1994)
True Lies (1994) .... Dana Tasker
This Boy's Life (1993) .... Pearl
That Night (1992) .... Alice Bloom

All of season 3 Buffy was before she was 20.

(Does SMG count? How about Seth Green?)

I think Seth Green was in a movie with Alysson Hannigan when both were pretty young, My Step-Mother is a Space Alien or something like that. He looked about 14. No idea what his real age was.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

The conversation started with, "Lots of child actors seem to make good transitions into adult actors nowadays. How about those child actors from 20 years ago?" or some such. Elijah Wood and ED et al. would still fall into 'nowadays' category, I think.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I don't know if ED counts as a "good" transition yet. I mean, she's good for the average joe trying to make a living in Hollywood. Except she's making a living in Vancouver, on TV.

Elijah Wood -- now there's a transition.

Art Crawl!!!

So you're talking people who were born in the 70s?

Or earlier (Ron Howard? Although he doesn't act -- his brother Clint?)

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

Are we making a distinction between child actors and teen actors? To me, there's a big difference between making the transition from cute kid to adult and making the transition from teen to adult.

I think the "now" is people Nutty's age, and the "then" is people 20 years younger than her. As best I can tell from the post.

I don't know how old Nutty is, so I can't be of further help.

Does his brother Clint act in anything not directed by Ron?
