Or, how about Caroline Dhavernas? No wigs needed there.

Honestly? Seems to be likewise too young for the part, though she has the character's attitude down cold.

Dude, I am SO in. We can raise money by selling the "making of" rights to the WB as a new hit reality series.

Brilliant! Except the movie will probably be a huge hit, and then all the new movies will star nothing but fifteen-year-olds.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

I saw Stage Beauty last night, and quite enjoyed it. However, when I went over to RottenTomatoes, it felt like I had seen a completely different movie than over half of the reviewers. Has anyone else seen it yet? Jessica? Beuller?

Well, there was that gangster movie with all the characters played by children.

Bugsy Malone was great fun (Betsy already pointed out the bloop guns). And, it was directed by Alan Parker, who also directed one of my all-time faves, The Commitments.

"We tripped the light fantastic, turned cartwheels 'cross the floor, I was feeling kinda seasick, but the crowd called out for more. 'That's very profound, Jimmy--what does it mean?' I'm fooked if I know!"

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

And Jodie Foster as the Mae West character. Rrrrrrrow!

What's Stage Beauty about, juliana? I vaguely recall seeing a review that made it look interesting, but I can't remember anything about it.

Not Juliana, but it's about Billy Crudup as an Elizabethan actor who spends most of his time in drag, IIRC.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

And for that reason it's at the top of my list. mm-mmm.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

IIRC it's about the time when having female stage actors was legalized.
