Something I think I noticed while in LA this past weekend (LAistas please confirm or refute)...
All the big huge
Catwoman
billboards? I swear that Halle looked white on the ones in Pasadena, and black on the ones downtown. I thought at first they were color-adjusting her skin whiter to contrast with the costume, and then I thought maybe it was just poor color offset printing when she looked darker than natural. Then I started linking skin color to billboard location.
Take a look at this still, Steph.
Also, this one doesn't hurt.
This still?
Mmm. Yep.
Also? I like the one where he's got a shirt that's a little open at the top, and he's looking a touch grim...
He is not at all an ugly Bruce Wayne. No sir.
Oh no, not at all.
How old is he? (Bale, that is.)
Isn't he about my age, give or take a year?
Take a look at this still, Steph.
He's got a weird Tom-Cruise-without-the-smarm look going on.
Sadly, I don't think he'll ever look like this or this again, as all the weight yo-yoing for various roles has aged him well beyond his All the Little Animals appearance.
Sadly, I don't think he'll ever look like this again
I don't think that's a sad thing.
His looks have improved with age.
Though I'm feeling a weird urge for Newsies.
Is this one of those times I find out I have no idea what 30 looks like?
I think facially he was at his best in '98 (the beatific expression frequently worn by his mentally disabled character probably didn't hurt), but the many, many pounds of muscle added for American Psycho, Reign of Fire, and Equilibrium are much appreciated.
He looks disturbingly like Dylan McDermott there.
