Gunn: The final score can't be rigged. I don't care how many players you grease, that last shot always comes up a question mark. But here's the thing. You never know when you're taking it. It could be when you're duking it out with the Legion of Doom, or just crossing the street deciding where to have brunch. So you just treat it like it was up to you—the world in balance—'cause you never know when it is.

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

I actually saw a Delorean driving around near my neighborhood about a week ago. I was very surprised.

Whenever I see one (and there's still a couple floating around LA), I always think it looks slightly wrong without the big vents on the back and the electrical conduits along the sides.

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

Every once in a while there's a Delorean...with a Mr. Fusion and the cool vents and junk...that parks at the gas station up the street from me.

One of the advantages of living near Universal Studios, I guess.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

You'd be perfectly happy if Fone started dressing that way tomorrow?

I'd probably asphyxiate laughing. But otherwise, sure.

Does anybody know if the VHS tapes made in England/Europe can be played on American VCRs? Or is it like the different DVD regions?

Signed, the girl who just spent 19 pounds on a tape without checking that out first.

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

Does the tape say either PAL or NTSC? Or the listing for the tape?

I will always love the Adam Ant look.
Makeup works best if people wonder whether you're wearing any.

Nah, I like pretty men in obvious eyeliner.

Up with the sun

Eyeliner on men is awesome.

As is the web page MM linked to.

Maysa, the tape is probably going to be PAL, which means it won't play in an average American VCR, unless you have a multisystem. If it's NTSC, there shouldn't be any problem.

I spent the '80s in Oxford shirts, lambswool sweaters, and jeans.

Betsy is me, although I admit to owning a narrow leather tie at one point. Sigh.

I really have NO fashion sense to speak of.

I checked the website and I think it's in PAL. I'm not sure what my VCR is, but it probably won't play that format. Oh, well! Thanks for the information, guys.
