I watched
Requiem for a Dream
at 3 AM this morning. It was pretty good...beautiful cinematography and a great score. But really, it didn't have any effect on me, probably because I'm not a junkie, and I never intend to be one. If I was a junkie, I'd think it would be a lot more meaningful to me.

I just saw
The Forgotten
tonight. There were some jump-out-of-my-seat surprise moments, but the end left me very unsatisfied.
Another sexy foreign film with a theremin player.
Looks like it's just in one scene, so not as cool as Les Aimants, but I suppose I'll still have to see it. Thanks Mr. Rot.
There were previews for a movie called
National Treasure
that stars Nicholas Cage and Sean Bean. anyone else know anything about this?
Sean Bean is all I need to know. I have no suspicion it won't suck, but, dude, Sean!
It looks like an Indiana Jonesish adventure that has to do with US national treasures.
Ended up going to see Hero, and coming home to watch Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon.

Something about them having to steal the constitution to protect it, or something.
It looks like The Da Vinci Code a la USA. Which is no high recommendation in my mind.
It's the Declaration of Independence and the unfinished pyramid on the dollar is another clue to some secret.
