Spike: Or maybe Captain Forehead was feeling a little less special. Didn't like me crashing his exclusive club, another vampire with a soul in the world. Angel: You're not in the world, Casper.

aka "The artist formerly known as Corwood Industries."

Shhh, I don't want to unduly influence Fred. But he'd be insane not to be amazed by Gene Hackman's performance. One other general remark: it isn't half the movie that Thieves Like Us is.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

I think I've told this story before, but I saw Arthur Penn on the Dick Cavett show years ago, and he had the funniest B&C anecdote ever. To sum up, during the filming of the death scene, Beatty froze up on the first take and just stood there smiling while all the squibs went off and Faye Dunaway went through her death throes. Man, I wish they kept outtakes like that back in the day - that would be comedy gold.

Damn, that's an expensive take. Ya gotta be in the moment, Warren!

Well, according to Penn, he felt really bad about it - he just freaked out a little. Damn, though, I'd love to have seen the footage (from multiple angles).

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Interview with George Lucas about the DVD release ot the original SW trilogy and what-not.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Summarizing (that was almost Dummarizing) IMDB summaries seems to indicate that Sky Captain is very pretty, not that interesting, Wimbledon is pleasant enough, and Bernie Mac does a good job in Mr. 3000.

A drunk Edward Furlong was arrested for trying to free some lobsters.

I don't know what a freed lobster would do in Kentucky.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Hit on his sister and drink a brew.

Same as everyone else.
