Stupid Question:
WHY did they remove the jub-jub song?
A place to talk about movies--Old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.
Stupid Question:
WHY did they remove the jub-jub song?
Couldn't negotiate a rights agreement with the Alien Society of Composers and Artists.
Because it's really lame?
Lameness has NEVER been a factor in any Lucasfilm decision. Witness Han Solo shooting last.
He has to get some stuff right.
Bets?
I miss the Jub-Jub song.
I'm wagering that if he never got anything right, we wouldn't be having this discussion, since we'd never have seen or liked SW the first time round.
Well, if they have taken it out and aren't going to put it back in, I for one, am going to start a movement to have it replaced with the song from "Fraggle Rock."
Dance your cares away! clap, clap! Worry's for another day!
Lameness has NEVER been a factor in any Lucasfilm decision.
Word. Lameness seems to be Job One in Lucasfilmland since about 1983.
