I've not yet seen the movie, but from past descriptions I always assumed it was what you'd get if you smashed The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Xanadu and The Bible together at high speed.
Though perhaps The Most Fabulous Story Ever Told would work as a combination of those last two.

I haven't seen Garden State yet, but H&K was one of the most accurate depictions of New Jersey that I've seen on film.

Guillermo: Alex, I hear that Joss Whedon is doing it and as a fan I think that's perfect. I think that the character I love the most in the X-Men mythology is Beast, so it's too close to Hellboy for comfort

The Passion Of The Christ star Jim Caviezel may be ready to sign a deal to star as Superman in the long-awaited new film Superman Returns. The hunky actor - who movingly portrayed Jesus in Mel Gibson's controversial epic - is said to be very close to an agreement with studio Warner Bros. despite his agent's recent insistence the part had not yet been offered to him. Big name stars such as Jude Law, Josh Hartnett and Brendan Fraser have already been offered, and turned down, the role. However, according to respected comic book author Mark Miller, Caviezel's participation is all but guaranteed. He writes, "You remember I told you to relax about Superman? That a very, very trusted and experienced director we'd all love was coming over? That everything would be fine? Well, my same good buddy has informed me that Jim Caviezel is officially the new man of steel and what a perfect choice he is. Expect an announcement shortly."
Maybe they'll just film Kingdom Come.

Hm? Jim Caviezel looks like he weighs 98 lb. soaking wet. I am basing this on movies where he is still intact at the end, like Frequency, where Dennis Quaid looked like he coulda eaten the guy for breakfast.
He's very pretty, but slight. I think it's insane, and hope it's more Bond-like rumour.
