Cary Grant

Nuh and uh and I don't mind DiCaprio. But, not as my Cary. I don't know who could do it, but not Leo.
A place to talk about movies--Old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.

How about Kyle MacLachlan?
Wow. Yeah, he could do it.
I heard he was great, P-C, but I just can't imagine it.
(I am basing it strictly on the picture, I have not seen him in anything that I remember or know of.)
Calli, I can see Jackman. Harrison Ford could have in his prime (think Indiana Jones), but he's proabably too old now.
But it's hard to say, because Flynn had a certain spirit that seems to be missing from today's Hollywood. A sense of joy, maybe -- or at least of enjoyment.

He was Charlotte's impotent husband on Sex and the City.
Also, just for the record, it was Jude Law being proposed for Cary, not Leo. Now that Jude looks any more like him.
I just now he photographs nice.
gah. I have a new picture for my wallpaper, I think.
I was going to say -- Jude Law is way too young to play Cary Grant right now. Isn't he? For some reason Cary Grant is permanently 45 in my mind. Also, a big block of a man.
Whereas, playing Errol Flynn -- I guess I need to see the guy move, to know. I can't think of many movies I've seen where the point of Jude Law was anything other than his face.
He was Charlotte's impotent husband on Sex and the City.
Ah, there it is then. I didn't watch Sex and the City.
