Buffista Movies 3: Panned and Scanned

A place to talk about movies--Old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.

aka "The artist formerly known as Corwood Industries."

Maybe y'all didn't see Arthur 2: On the Rocks. Or perhaps you're using vision-assistance computers.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

You're one of those tinfoil hatters, aren't you?

I bet you think there was a Highlander 2.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I think I own First Knight.

Err. For someone's bit part, so hush.

Gary OLDMAN is James Gordon? How did I miss that? They should switch him with Caine.

They've managed to make him look perfect for it, and at 46, he's about the right age for the part.

hip deep in pie

Worse than First Knight?

Okay, I'll admit to not seeing that.

I was bored, and I'd rather it be spectacularily bad than be bored.

But he's so slight. Like Alfred.

there's NOT a new Highlander movie in 2005.

Well, if Methos is there, so am I.

Conservative, n. A statesman who is enamored of existing evils, as distinguished from the Liberal, who wishes to replace them with others. -Bierce

Was anyone else hoping that The Village twist would involve fae? Would probably be considered as silly by the "average" audience, but my hope for a nice unseely court on film is undimmed.
