I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I saw Blue Crush. I left the theater not really caring about any of the characters, but I really wanted to learn to surf.

Pity about that whole hundreds of miles from a coast that doesn't even have decent waves without a nearby hurricaine thing.

I'm going to see Ju-on tomorrow night. After seeing the previews of The Grudge at Comic-Con, I'm excited to see the original. It looks plenty scary alright.

I will, Matt. LA-istas, Ju-on is playing at the NuArt theater on Santa Monica Blvd. Also, Donnie Darko the Director's Cut is playing at the ArcLight. Yippee!

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

I just read the article about Jo-on in Rue Morgue magazine, including two scenes that I really wish I hadn't.

Rue Morgue has been very useful for me. I can read all about interesting horror movies, then realize that I would NEVER SLEEP AGAIN if I went and saw them. But reading about them makes me feel all informed and stuff.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Oooh yeah. I heard about that months ago, in relation to how similar it was to Chasing Liberty.

Right.

Always the way. If ONE underwater monster movie is good, 5 must be better, yeah?

Only, presidential spawn films? Who decided that was an viable genre?
