I missed a week in my head. Everything Nice airs next week, so it should groove along just fine, I think. Unless I'm forgetting shit. Which happens.
The Minearverse 3: The Network Is a Harsh Mistress
[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.
I think the point of showing two in a row is to create an "event" that they can promote.
So that's a good sign, right?
Then again, they promoted "Serenity" as a "TWO HOUR FIREFLY EVENT!"
But we'll stick with "good sign" for now. Also that they think it's better than Stacked.
I don't know anything about Stacked, but on a scale of Britney and Kevin: Chaotic to Buffy, where would it stand? Curious.
Well, the two minutes I saw waiting for the Inside went like this:
Pamela Anderson talks some guy into leaving a VM message for a girl he'd slept with but then felt rejected by, saying all kinds of rather mean things. Then the girl comes in to see if he'd like to get together later, then checks her VM because it beeps. Hilarious slappage ensued.
That's all I've seen too, Emily.
The bit I saw last week involved PA getting a very suggestive Heimlich from some guy and his brother accusing them of having sex in the middle of the store.
There may also have been somebody's mother reincarnated as a car, but I stopped paying attention after the point above.
I just remember something about peanut butter balls and Jim from Taxi reading a paper.
It's almost like that morgue game where you write a line, and pass it to another person until you get a complete fucked up wee short story that is only hilarious to the people involved.
Or maybe they're using a random sitcom generator which explains Jim from Taxi.
It's two eps. 8-10 p.m. EST.
Oh, duh. Yeah. I always forget about time. *slaps head*

Me, too. Although I didn't even know PA even talked guy into the message. I just saw guy talking to girl and not knowing how to stop her from listening, and then the slappage.
Her show is called Stacked? Why am I even mildly surprised by this? You know, I really hate the modern world. It's so crass and ooky, and grrlllslslslslllshshd.
