All of Tim's Buffy scripts were very SMerriffic.

Tim -- Oh, no, I've always respected how you've dealt with criticism, here & elsewhere. 'Cause I certainly expected you to think I was a complete asshole, and I felt kinda bad about that, so it was nice to find out you didn't. I truly meant just what I said, that I think you may have either read the TWoP boards on particularly bad days, or you may remember negative comments more than positive ones (which, again, I totally get). At least on the Angel boards, I think you're probably held in higher esteem than anyone else, including Joss, and a big part of that is because you'll say things like, "Yeah, sorry about TOGoM." Everything else was very Not About Your Post. I've had sort of a weird week as far as people talking about TWoP, plus being tired, so... yeah. Any venting was aimed at the world, not you in particular.

I, too, am curious about this Tornado Penis thing. Ahem.

And yes, Shack did Tru Calling. Damn him. I'm always getting credited for his jokes. It's like the "That was a great line!" "Er, thanks, but Joss wrote that one..." thing.

Well, I loved Shack's Tru Calling recaps. We actually... well, me, actually printed them out at Wonderfalls and read them out loud. And I'm still sorry about TOGoM.

And as far as that repost... uh, whatever. Never wrote for Buffy, never did S&M on Angel. I mean, I know I didn't anyway, and not sure the show ever did either (the way the poster suggests, with allusions to safe words and blah blah lifestyle blah.) Mark Fish pitched this story, and so far as I know he didn't write for Buffy either. Jesus, they didn't dig the show. Uh, got it. But the dime store psychoanalysis? I mean, jesus, I wrote lots more about blood drinkin', but nobody ever thought maybe "I must really do it or want to."

Wasn't there a fall out with one of the alt.tv.angel posters (who you had happened to have met at a conference or something)? I might have been imagining it, I just seemed to recall something being mentioned in uk.media.tv.angel years back (and we are talking years here).

I think you handle the online stuff very (very) well, Tim. I remember the first time I noticed you posted online, seeing a thread bashing Angel on UMTA quite badly, and you piping in the middle of it to give some kind of useful information about the episode. At the time I kinda thought "Jesus. If I'd written that episode, I don't think I'd be helping people out in that thread."

I do remember slagging Tim off for that horrid Buffy episode he wrote once. The one with the flying beagles.

I was going to try to make this post a little funny and/or interesting, by the way, but I've only had 4 hours sleep. Damn you, Buffistas, damn you.

Kevin, I won't say I haven't had my run-ins with posters over the years. I've been around since before Lois and Clark, and always have posted under my own name. But I don't think it's any different than any kind of ongoing concern.

Although I'd dearly love to see Allyson's late night pager scene with new added special guest star, Danny hasn't pinged me in that way at all. And my TV/film character gaydar (as opposed to the real life version) is virtually infallible. Is there something in a future script that contributes to the impression?

Also. I liked TOGoM. I liked it for ridiculous reasons. But still.
