I love Web's character. I love the idea of Web as puppet master
When I spoke with Rachel today she said it reminded her of a twisted version of Oliver, with Web taking in all the broken orphans and giving them the occassional treat in order to manipulate them to his gain.
Web is Fagan. Holy crap
I was just going to say. Love this idea.
Although now I want to listen to "Pick a Pocket or Two" and "Be Back Soon".
"Twisted Oliver." Awesome.
I will add one thing, and then off to bed. I'm still getting a lot of flatness from Rachel's line readings, but she's doing some really interesting non-verbal stuff that's definitely off-setting and/or indicating that it's her character who is flat/affectless, not necessarily the actress. Those looks are mainly when Rebecca knows, or at least thinks, that she's not under direct observation.
I'll need to go back and re-watch now that I don't have to follow the plot quite so much.
Also, I liked that while we don't know much more about them, that Adam and Katie got to at least play a nice Statler and Waldorf to the rest of the team this week in comparison to the pilot.
Would also like to point out that the DA was named Madeline...which is Tim's mom's name.
I'm choosing to believe that naming a character after you and then killing the shit out of you is Tim's way of saying, "I love you."
Otherwise, he just has some issues.
Awesome.
That's what I told her. She said, "Really? Thanks!"
She was just plain adorable. And grateful. And adorable.
Wasn't thinking of mom when I killed that woman.
He killed you, Allyson. It must be love.
Damn. Where does that leave me? Besides dead?
