Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

26 peers, 0 seeds. Somehow, though, PC got in after I stalled and got the whole thing.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I use Azureus. Mine downloaded quickly, with no stalling that I saw, in less than two hours. I can't figure out how to seed it back now, after having change the filename. It won't configure the tracker or something.

Changing the filename back doesn't work?

Adding file 'D:MoviesVeronica MarsGlobal Frequency Pilot.mpg'
Creating torrent for 'D:MoviesVeronica MarsGlobal Frequency Pilot.mpg'
ShareManager: Tracker must be configured, ShareResource: Torrent create failed

(For the confused, I had to copy the file into another folder before changing the filename because the original is uploading to YSI.)

Okay, think I figured it out. I needed to seed the torrent first, not just the file. I'm seeding now.

All is well that ends in pizza.

According to various googles I did, a lot of bittorrent programs do not yet do UDP, but Azureus should. I don't know what version you need. Probably very recent.

I don't know what UDP is, but I have the latest version. I'm seeding now, and uploading to YSI.

I usually use bit tornado, but I have Azureus 2.2.0.2 and it has UDP, and it works on that. So at least back that far has UDP ability.

I may have to seize the cat.

A television show realistically portraying the mysogyny that exists in society, and the charcters maybe even using it to their advantage in going after the bad guys, doesn't equate to promoting it or excusing it, in my book.

Yes, so much. I find myself constantly frustrated with people I know who get upset when misogyny is portrayed realistically, because acknowledging something exists is the same as supporting it, really. *rolls eyes* Truly, if we are to make any forward progress in this world, we can't pretend that nasty things aren't out there.

[This post brought to you partly by my displeasure with "The Adventures of Shark Boy and Lava Girl in 3-D" and its implication that, if you want it bad enough, your parents WON'T split up.]

It's possible to exploit misogyny and crimes against vaginas (cf SVU) without supporting them. I dislike it as a shorthand to ultimate horror.

That makes sense. I think there is a balance to it. Sometimes it is valuable to portray these bad things, and it is certainly always possible to do so in a manner not exploitative, and it is thoroughly disappointing when people exploit it. Especially if they are pretending to be self-righteously against said misogyny while using melodramatic portrayal of it to their advantage. Even so, I know some people with a knee-jerk reaction to any portrayal of it at all that I think could use to be kept in check.
