Yes, it's terribly simple. The good guys are always stalwart and true, the bad guys are easily distinguished by their pointy horns or black hats, and, uh, we always defeat them and save the day. No one ever dies, and everybody lives happily ever after.

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

I'm glad I am not the only one who missed this. I knew I had seen him but, couldn't place him. Must be the beer.

I missed it too. I remembered seeing him, but couldn't remember where. Unfortunately, I cannot blame beer. I think it's because I was focusing so much more on the leads. Plus, it's hot and I'm sleepy.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Arlen Dallas

This is such a porn star name.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Who's taking point on the completely legal episodes with ads for Nilly?

Allyson - what do you think about the differences between the written version and the executed one?

[Edit: ita, and everybody, I just want to make sure - I'm not asking for anything! I just, I don't know, trust the great big scriptwriter in the sky that just the way things turned out in the past for the best, I'll get stop-whining-means in the present/future. Not asking anything here, now.]

You know, we could experiment and cancel football.

I have it TiFauxed and can tape with ads for Nilly. No problem.

Thanks, Tamara, but, just like I said in my edit above - I wasn't asking, honest. With the shipping to Israel and everything, it's not something I want to ask of anybody. But thank you for the thought.

There were some things I really missed, but understand they were cut for time.

There was a scene where Web says, "Becky. That's a little girl's name. Can I call you Rebecca?" And she concedes.

Which is why I call her Becky. It's sort of her Malcolm Little. And then The Honorable Elijah Web gives her Rebecca X. And then when she goes to Mecca she'll be all, "From now on, my name is Josephine"...or something.

God I'm tired.

And when she first leaves her bags, she asks if they'll be alright there, and Danny says, "they'll be okay. we have guns." Or something like that. And they all try to pry open her bags when she's in Web's office.

And it was SO FUNNY. I get why it was cut, but I liked the sort of desperate measures Web reduced them to, since he's an info horder.

Things weren't delivered the way they sounded in my head, which is mostly true when someone makes a movie of a favorite book.

Tim said earlier that this was Pulp, and it reads that way. I was telling him the other night that I hope there's a script book, because reading through them is such a joy.

The cool tones were just what I thought it should be.

I find it so funny when I hit reload ten times, and when I ask if anyone else is there, it comes up with another post.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

I am. And am likely to be for at least an hour.
