I'm not quite sure if this needs to be whitefonted or not, but to be on the safe side. The man that Rebecca sees in the mirror. Do I spy 'Paul Millander' from CSI fame!?

Shit's all sorts of different now.

I gotta ride the damn thing every. day. I think that was the Vermont/Beverly stop.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Why are we whitefonting? Hell, we were blackfonting after the East coast airing. I'm not sure how NAFDA works for this show in this thread.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

I think it will take me a couple episodes to see something other than CSM and Xander Harris fight for Dawnie's soul. Didn't see Sharon or Jayne, though

Of course, it also took me more than 1 viewing to figure out that the guy was the guy in the control room.

I'm in. Though I was a bit skeptical of the vic having her own apartment that big in Silver Lake.

And I was kicking myself for not remembering the bit about the Subway going "directly" to LAX, having taken the subway from LAX.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Just remember, I'm not sure why, but when Rebecca was all tarted up as bait, she was giving me an Amber Benson vibe, which is odd because I normally don't visualize AB that way considering I've only seen her as Tara (and walking past her about 30' away at a Con.)

Didn't see Sharon or Jayne, though

The only time I saw Jayne was in the delivery of the line, "She was a head case?" which had the same rythym and sense of "Huh?" as, "She's in Congress?" But there's no way I would've noticed that if not for the obsessive FF viewing. The character didn't remind me of Jayne; just that one bit of delivery. And Sharon? Not a whit.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Good show. Goooooood show. I didn't think it was too gory (but then again, I have a high squick level). I liked all the lines everyone else did, and giggled at the Allyson shout-out.

Pete & I had the same reaction.

Oh, and I cheered at the gothlings in the background at the final victim's apartment. Yes, I am that shallow.

A One that isn't cold, is scarcely A One at all.

I was curious about the gore factor because after all it's network TV how bad could that be? It turned out to be a non starter. I was more interested in the character interaction than the solving of the crime. And Rachel Nichols is super hott (two t's worthy.)

I kind of wish they did they had a "24" like chronology where they had three episode arcs which would be equivalent to a week's worth of real time. It seems a little off that the "heinous" crimes would be so frequent.

Since NYPD Blue went off the air I've needed to fill my 1 cop show quota and I think this will be it.

I think it will take me a couple episodes to see something other than CSM and Xander Harris fight for Dawnie's soul.

CSM! I totally get that. I've seen Web compared to Alias' Sloane as well. It's like the bad guy who gets to be bad because he's on the right side of the law. Works for me.

"Waiting to be recognised, quite applause will do. They shower you with flowers, when they bury you." -Brave -Marillion.

"by the way, east coasters -- now that you've seen it, doesn't all this hand wringing by the MSM critics about the gore seem a bit overwrought? "

Yes, Just finished watching it for the 3rd time while catching up on the posts here. Not that gory to me, but maybe I'm over-exposed to gore. Of course all the "far to gory" likely worked as the proverbial accident that people just have to look at.

Loved the whole thing. I am looking forward to more Adam and Katie time. And computer/tech guy, very fun, could do with more of him too.

The deleted scene you posted, going to DVD? And the original "jump street" -esque ep would be hilarious after 13 eps of this.

I also saw a lot of Amber Benson in Rebecca in several shots there, Amber couold easily play a "related" character.

Good, Good stuff. All in. -JadeHand
