I totally got the triangle thing, too, and really appreciate getting a strong feel for the central three, instead of no feel for all of them.
Heck, there's times I have to turn away during the operations on Nip/Tuck, that's how much I hate gore.
Oh lord yes. I can never watch that stuff.
It certainly didn't seem all that gory to me. The various L&Os have shown things as graphic, and this didn't wallow in it like CSI. I'm only really grossed out by maggots, though.
Heee, Allyson, say it like you mean it!
I can't watch operations on
Nip/Tuck
either, but the gore here didn't bother me.
(I've got a friend who doesn't watch
Nip/Tuck
or
c.s.i.
but loves to watch those plastic surgery shows on E!, MTV, ABC and anywhere else they show them.)
I think Paul takes his "conscience" duties very seriously. Too seriously, probably, and I think he's going to get hurt.
this. i also think he's going to become way too overprotective of Rebecca and she's going to tell him where to go.
I found it less gory than CSI. And way less gory than Fear Factor.
As someone who has had needles poked in her eye, it looks worse than it feels.
Okay, the show didn't gross me out, but I'm thinking of reporting SailAweigh to Standards & Practices.
Hey, she's not really dead.
I think Paul takes his "conscience" duties very seriously.
I see Web's saying things in reference to owning Becky as a way to make Paul be more protective of her since she's so green.
Web surprises.
Tim, I thought it was just gory enough to put me on edge and keep from feeling 'safe'. Let's us know how far you are willing to go, and that we could be slapped in the face with something awful at any time.
And enough that my over-active imagination is going to keep revisiting a scenario where someone peels off one of their hands and is able to keep trying at the other for a bit.
Shudder.
