I like Rebecca, but I don't buy that she's tough -- not yet, anyway. When she was holding that gun, she looked like she didn't know how to use it, and she's so soft-spoken and fragile-looking.
That seems right. She's never been in the field before, right?
The nice thing about a rookie lead (meaning rookie agent), she gets to have special talent, be the star, and fuck up ALL THE TIME. 'cause, she would, you know?
We're getting hammered with thunderstorms right now. That's probably why my reception was so bad.
Does anyone know if TWOP is recapping this?
And Tim, good show and when does the DVD come out?

And especially after she came in all Ms. Magic Profiler Work All Night girl. She still doesn't necessarily know what she's doing.
It'll be interesting to see what Mel and Danny's deals are.
Don't know about Mel, but Danny appears to be the SWAT guy. He was the one Web had coordinating with the weapons people.
Yes, her placid blank thing was a choice. My choice. About 3/4 of this pilot was re-shot. Maybe we'll be able to include the original hour on the DVD (and I'm NOT talking about the 21 Jump Street thing, though I think that should go on the DVD, too), things were very bright, she was cheerful and perky. We backed the hell up. I like that she's all "I'd like to see the body" then almost ralphs on it.
Not to mention a rookie agent who (as I understood it) should in no way be an agent at all.
She still doesn't necessarily know what she's doing.
At this point, I wonder that Paul would want to be on the same team after she pointed her weapon at him. That's a serious no no.
You know what this show reminds me of, more than Se7en, or Silence of the Lambs?
Millennium. Something about Web's character feels like he'd fit in with that universe quite nicely.
