Played with Kaylee. Sun came out, and I walked on my feet and heard with my ears. I ate the bits, the bits stayed down, and I work. I function like I'm a girl. I hate it because I know it'll go away. The sun goes dark and chaos has come again. Bits. Fluids. What am I?!

The Minearverse 3: The Network Is a Harsh Mistress

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

Thrive to spite them

I've barely watched tv since I moved. So this will be interesting. I have to hook up the vcr and get some tapes. I'll probably move the tv in the bed room so I can watch and post.

I haven't read any reviews of The Inside, but it seems the stuff they are complaining about I find interesting.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

It's gruesome, but not as much as I expected given all the talk about it.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

I also think there's a "police procedural" burn-out factor at work here. Whether that tag is accurate or not, it's the one that Fox seems to be pushing.

I was going to say something about that last night. Besides the L&o and CSI, there's Medium and Numbers and the Kyra Sedgewick one. Not that they take away anything from The Inside for an average viewer, but it may affect a reviewer's attitude.

I do believe in killing the messenger, you know why? Because it sends a message. ~ Damon Salvatore

I saw a couple of people mentioning the toward the bottom of the board. I think one was in response to you, but not much. I was going to pimp The Inside, but felt too out of place.

i'll probably pop in later and pimp. closer to show time so people don't forget.

I think the last time I was there, was when you gave me the heads up that CG was responding at the Beta to things said in D's lj, months before.

that was some amusing stuff. you know what i really wish i had done when all of those flamewars were going on? saved the boards! it's nice to be nostalgic about it, but i'd love to go back and read that stuff now. just think of the hindsight involved!

It seems that you can now go to Yahoo TV and watch the first four minutes of tonight's episode.

hmmm...to watch or not to watch?

A One that isn't cold, is scarcely A One at all.

It's gruesome, but not as much as I expected given all the talk about it.

My thoughts exactly. That teaser rocked hard.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

They've got two out of three ME shows to get it right, and they ONLY pick the wrong one? Le sigh. @@

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Ft. Worth S-T didn't give it a good review (C+), but also complained about "just another cop show"ness. To counter this, however, I give you Ms. Ryan of the Tribune

Still, just as Fox's "House" seemed somewhat derivative of other medical shows at first, only to develop into an unpredictable treat, "The Inside" may just evolve into something other than yet another cop-shop drama.
