I expect a larger, more complicated storyline will eventually shine through
Is there an arc to the 13 episodes? The way "Wonderfalls" had? Or a longer one, like "Angel"?
It's created by Buffy vet Tim Minear, and it retains some of that epic, mystical feeling.
Tim is never going to be able to put his time on BtVS behind him, ha?
[Edit: x-post with JZ. I was wondering how many of us will jump at the BtVS repeated mention. Now I know]
Thanks, Allyson.

Tim was the best "BtVS" writer, ever!
Well, I suppose it's better than being permanently mis-associated with According to Jim or somesuch. If you're going to have a writing job inaccurately attributed to you, might as well pick the critical darling/pop culture phenomenon.

There's two small arcs that I can think of. And with that, I need to beat my head against the wall in a fit of financial agony.
If they hadn't mentioned
Buffy,
they probably would've spelled his name wrong.

Excellent. Thanks! Also, I'd like it if you didn't bang your head against anything. It's a pity about the hair.

They can misspell "Buffy", as well, I guess.

I think we should start a counter-rumor. Tim wrote all the best jokes on
Laugh-In.

Or, we could write Tim's "Buffy" episode, like we rewrote Spiral (um, without the "re" part). It won't be fixing an existing episode, true, so a little less material to work with, but it will also give us more freedom.
Is there a character who just didn't show up anymore? Someone who might have been brutally done away with?
