Gunn: Well, how horrible is this thing? Lorne: I haven't read the Book of Revelations lately, but if I was searching for adjectives, I'd probably start there.

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

That was my situation with Wonderfalls promos. I never saw a one of them. But with House (to which I am new) and 24, I'm suddenly the target audience. It's odd.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I liked both House and the preview, both of which I saw for the first time tonight. The preview did have the blonde doing that Profiler stare-into-space thingy, but I can live with that.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I'm suddenly the target audience.
Huh. Me too.
It's odd.
So odd...

I haven't watched House since the first two or so episodes (because it was up against VM), but I really liked last nights. Even though the cases fit the formula the shows been using (at least in the early episodes), I liked the way they shook it up/made it personal.

All is well that ends in pizza.

In re: House. I liked the way they played with time and place and perception during the episode. Especially when House said " Oh, right. You guys don't know about it. He doesn't get bitten until three months after we treat the vollyball player. Luckily, it's been well established that time is not a fixed construct. "

Heh.

I can't even.

I haven't been watching House, but I saw last night's and while I thought it was interesting, especially the structure, Hugh Laurie's yank accent just kept pulling me out of the show. It was bizarre.

Conservative, n. A statesman who is enamored of existing evils, as distinguished from the Liberal, who wishes to replace them with others. -Bierce

I keep expecting him to walk into a room and shout "bravo" at an annoyingly loud volume.

It makes me realize that Laurie would have made a pretty good Wesley, since he can do git/prat as well as scruffy/bitter (or conversely, AD would make a pretty good Dr. House).

What is even happening?

Tim,

I suppose it would be neither prudent nor possible to name one of your victims of the week, Mes Loonves?
