Nice acronym, Mom!

The Minearverse 3: The Network Is a Harsh Mistress

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

Conservative, n. A statesman who is enamored of existing evils, as distinguished from the Liberal, who wishes to replace them with others. -Bierce

I keep expecting him to walk into a room and shout "bravo" at an annoyingly loud volume.

I haven't been watching House, but I saw last night's and while I thought it was interesting, especially the structure, Hugh Laurie's yank accent just kept pulling me out of the show. It was bizarre.

It makes me realize that Laurie would have made a pretty good Wesley, since he can do git/prat as well as scruffy/bitter (or conversely, AD would make a pretty good Dr. House).

What is even happening?

Tim,

I suppose it would be neither prudent nor possible to name one of your victims of the week, Mes Loonves?

Well the crap weasels in network program planning have done it again. Sumi just posted in natter that UPN is moving Veronica Mars to Weds. @ 9. Again, this is after the summer, so it won't affect The Inside at this point, but still. Meh.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

so it won't affect The Inside at this point, but still. Meh.

Still what? What's the problem?

Uh, I was thinking in the long term here (and optimistically). I guess I might have Tivo by then.

Mainly, though, the still is there's only about 4-6 shows I will probably have any interest in watching on network TV, and, while they aren't going to conflict immediately (well, Lost and VM will definitely now) they all seem to be scheduled at the same time.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Still what? What's the problem?

You may not give a flying fuck about VM, Allyson, but there are many of us that do.

Well, fuck you.

I was thinking that 22 episodes uninterrupted takes us to October. And so, Veronica Mars may not be affected if it starts then.

So take your assumptions and shove them up your ass.
